The Gospel of John (2003)
I believe that this is the BEST that Hollywood can get on a Biblically based Jesus Christ feature film. Although, I believe the historical Jesus did not have long hair as depicted in the movie as per the Bible passage below, I feel this is a really good evangelical tool for anyone saved or unsaved.
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 1 Corinthians 11:14
Let’s not forget that Mel (ROMAN Catholic) Gibson’s movie Passion of the Christ was consulted on by Jesuits, so after I found that out I pretty much discarded it from my library. In turn, I recommend this to you all above any other Jesus film (that I know of) to help spread the word and inspiration of the Truth in Jesus Christ. Enjoy…
Description:
An epic in the spirit of THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, this widely acclaimed motion picture is a meticulous recreation of the turbulent era of Jesus and the events that changed the course of history! Narrated by Golden Globe nominee Christopher Plummer (Best Supporting Actor, AMERICAN TRAGEDY, 2000), it’s the bold and powerful story of Jesus as told by his disciple John. The best-loved but least understood of the gospels, John presents a uniquely human portrait of courage and passion encompassing Jesus’ entire three-year ministry, the final years of his life. Intimate and reflective, THE GOSPEL OF JOHN offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the incomparable life and times of Jesus Christ.

Mel Gibson is a sedevacantist meaning he thinks the current pope is not a real pope and the seat of the papacy is vacant. He has nothing to do with the papacy or the Vatican, and since the Jesuits are in league with the Vatican I would presume he also has nothing to do with them. I don't know anything about him consulting Jesuits in the making of the Passion of the Christ but I'm sure he consulted all sorts of 'experts' of various backgrounds. I personally thought the Passion of the Christ was a great movie and I have a lot of respect for Gibson, even though I disagree with Catholicism.
I'm sure that movie helped many get saved, but if it was into a works salvation RELIGION like romanism/catholicism than I'd rather be atheist.
