All symbology of a religious significance is borrowed, morphed and bastardised by a new order. A perfect example of this is what is now so famously known as the swastika which was adopted by Hitler and his Nazi chums. The reasoning behind this was that it’s true origin is of greek descent where the unbroken repetitive cycle represented the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. Hence a perfect fit to Hitlers vision of a new super race and the solution to the great question. This was later adopted in 450 – 500 CE as a symbol of christianity and is quite commonly found in churches and cathedrals the world over, including valencia cathedral to name but one that the pope has visited, home to one of the three recognised holy grails that the vatican has blessed.

A similar application can be used to the Star of David which the jews use as their religious symbol. This of course was only used as a royal seal on documents and a standard for King David during his reign but was again borrowed from the egyptians to serve davids purpose. The six points relating to the then 6 dieties of Egypt Horus, Osis, On and family.

In summary then is it fair to imply that the vatican is supporting an institute which it in public slanders and renounces as evil and to this day still forbids catholics to join? Is it fair to say that freemasonry has clearly adopted religious symbology from many religions not solely christianity? And finally the next time you visit the vatican ask one of the guides about the masonic priory to the knights templars that is within it’s walls and then ask if they still support freemasonry!
