Why Is The Vatican Displaying Masonic Symbols?
I thought the Vatican does not support freemasonry & mystical orders like the rosicrucians?
The recent video uploaded by the Vatican’s youtube subtly shows the connections between masonic symbolism and the Vatican’s mystery babylon system still existent to this day (and most likely from the very beginning).

Now let’s take a look at what this degree & symbol is externally suppose to mean to the Freemasons.
The following is taken from the PHOENIXmasonry Masonic Museum and Library…

Summary:
This Degree, interpreted as we wish according to our own credal convictions, reflects the descent upon us of profound sorrow and darkness. The world is under the sway of tyranny and evil. Yet, at times of such despair, we can call upon two great motivating forces for relief-reason and faith. Reason deals with that which is demonstrable, the tangible. Faith comes from within, the intangible. We combine and express these in the cross and the rose. The cross has been a sacred symbol from earliest antiquity and among many nations. The rose signifies the dawn of the resurrection of life. Thus, we dispel the darkness of evil with its fearful demons and tempting fallen angels and are restored to the greatness and goodness of the Deity in the divine light of revelation. We know that as life emanated from God so also we may realize its continuance into eternity.
Commentary:
This mandatory Degree reveals the light of fulfillment promised in prayers. The pain, sorrow and evil loosed upon the world are overcome. Through the goodness and supremacy of the Deity, we receive a glorious answer of hope, of faith and of power. This is portrayed through the story of Jesus of Nazareth, although there is no restriction on its application to those who are not of the Christian faith. Instead, it is a great Degree of toleration, inviting men of all creeds to find spiritual enrichment within its portrayal. It points up the new Law-Love of God and of one’s neighbor. The ideals and the spirit of Jesus with his wonderful works inspire a love of the Deity, a love of “thy neighbor as thyself.” Certainly through His demonstrations we can know God and experience freedom.
The story of Jesus with which we have been familiar since childhood is simple. Born in the little town of Bethlehem, He spent his early years at Nazareth and, at the age of 12, disputed doctors in the Temple at Jerusalem, showing a precocious mind. Returning to Nazareth, He “increased in wisdom and stature.” He went from Nazareth of Galilee and John the Baptist baptized Him. Then, after fasting in the desert, He commenced His own ministry, preaching in the synagogues and about Galilee. He cured people of diseases, selected His disciples and delivered upon a mountain the world’s greatest oration, the Sermon that is celebrated for its high moral and ethical content. This taught the plain lesson of personal redemption through individual virtue, not group adventures into starry-eyed economics. His arrest, farcical trial and crucifixion from fears of the chief priests, scribes and elders, occurred as He foretold.
There is in Christ’s gospel a rapport with many religions: Christianity, Buddhism, Mohammedanism, Confucianism, Judaism, Brahmanism and others. They origi nally arose from man’s early fears of nature’s forces. Gradual progress was made to higher and more mature concepts of freedom, of a release from fear. Hence, there is an ultimate unanimity of belief that the great cause is the one God; that man partakes of divinity in that God dwells within him; that this accounts for his inner knowledge of right and wrong, and that this spark of the Divine can be developed into a living and eternal flame.
Those who feel fear and irresolution and doubt within themselves will say: “It is all very well to tell us that fear and worry are harmful and that they prevent success. We know that. But tell us how we can conquer fear.” Alexander the Great found an answer in the reply of those he thought were his victims, the Vikings. At the height of his power he summoned the Chiefs and asked them what they most feared. He expected the usual slavish reply that the greatest fear was his power. But no such answer came. Instead, looking the great conqueror straight in the eye, they replied. “Of no man are we afraid.” And Luther, bound for his dangerous trial in Worms, stated, “If I had heard that as many devils would set on me in Worms as there are tiles on the roofs, I should nonetheless have ridden there.” And remember the story of La Hire who, suddenly finding himself face to face with a gigantic bear taller than himself, with no weapon but a small knife, prayed aloud: “Lord, I do not ask you to help La Hire, I ask you only not to help this bear.” And he beat the bear.
The quote taken from above stating “The rose signifies the dawn of the resurrection of life” sure does remind me of the concept of a NEW WORLD ORDER with the death of the existing order and the rebirth of a new one from it’s ashes… kinda like a PHOENIX rising from it’s ashes.
Here’s another symbol of the 18th degree of Scottish Rite Freemasonry…
Note the acronym I.N.R.I. under the birds in the symbol.
“And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.” John 19:19
The Roman Catholic crucifix reads: I.N.R.I.
“I. N. R. I. means: IESUS NAZARENUS REX IUDAEORUM”
Webster’s [College] Dictionary
However, I.N.R.I. Actually means “IUSTUM NECARE REGES IMPIOS,” which in English states: “It is just to exterminate or annihilate impious or heretical kings, governments or rulers.”
The crucifixion of Jesus means Christ dying on the cross for our sins, but, the Jesuits use the crucifix as a symbol for vengeance and death upon others.
So, now I can correlate the statement made by Eric Jon Phelps (Author of Vatican Assassins) that the Jesuits control all of high level Scottish Rite Freemasonry; Let alone Helena Blavatsky the highly admired Russian mystic stated similar ideas on the Jesuits even writing all of the Scottish Rite degrees themselves in France within her book titled Isis Unveiled.
This bit is just a RECENT example of how the two organizations (Vatican & Freemasonry) seem inseparable along with a huge range of other orders and societies.
And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Revelation 17:5

Perhaps the better question is why did Masons adopt Vatican symbols?
true, either the Jesuit Order really DID write all of the Scottish Rite degrees or they infiltrated it, but it's obvious on who controls it.

ALL ROADS STILL LEAD TO ROME.
And the woman which thou sawest is that great (JESUIT RULED VATICAN) city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. Revelation 17:18 KJV
Sorry to sound like I’m lecturing but what you have stated brings two conflicts to the table. The first that you have made an assumption that the vatican is displaying masonic symbology and not the other way around (as addressed above already). Secondly there is an implication that the symbology belongs to either of these organisations which in reality it does not.
All symbology of a religious significance is borrowed, morphed and bastardised by a new order. A perfect example of this is what is now so famously known as the swastika which was adopted by Hitler and his Nazi chums. The reasoning behind this was that it’s true origin is of greek descent where the unbroken repetitive cycle represented the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. Hence a perfect fit to Hitlers vision of a new super race and the solution to the great question. This was later adopted in 450 – 500 CE as a symbol of christianity and is quite commonly found in churches and cathedrals the world over, including valencia cathedral to name but one that the pope has visited, home to one of the three recognised holy grails that the vatican has blessed.
A similar application can be used to the Star of David which the jews use as their religious symbol. This of course was only used as a royal seal on documents and a standard for King David during his reign but was again borrowed from the egyptians to serve davids purpose. The six points relating to the then 6 dieties of Egypt Horus, Osis, On and family.
In summary then is it fair to imply that the vatican is supporting an institute which it in public slanders and renounces as evil and to this day still forbids catholics to join? Is it fair to say that freemasonry has clearly adopted religious symbology from many religions not solely christianity? And finally the next time you visit the vatican ask one of the guides about the masonic priory to the knights templars that is within it’s walls and then ask if they still support freemasonry!
